Fuel Stick –Fuel Conditioner
WHAT IS FUEL STICK – FUEL CONDITIONER?
- Fuel stick is a fuel conditioner (not an additive) that improves combustion process & reduces fuel consumption for liquid fuels
- Fuel stick was invented by combustion experts in New zealand. It is a complex blend of highly refined chemicals and organic compounds - a composition of palm tree extract, antioxidants, active cleaners
- Fuel stick, fuel conditioner (FS series) is available in solid soft cube form especially used with high speed diesel (HSD) , petrol & kerosene
- Fuel stick, fuel conditioner (S19) is available in liquid form especially used with furnace oil (FO), carbon black feed stock (CBFS) & light diesel oil (LDO)
BENEFITS:
- Improvement in overall heat output by liquid fuels
- Improved heat output reduces fuel consumption and saves significant cost
- The system runs clean with no carbon deposition or settlement of residue
- Lower maintenance
- Lesser break downs and down time of equipment
- Clean emissions
- Provides big opportunity to reduce carbon foot print
APPLICATION:
- Furnaces
- Boilers / hot water generators
- Diesel & petrol engines
- DG sets and similar emergency services
- Construction, mining and earth moving machines
- Boats, ships, personal watercraft
- Cars, trucks, taxis
- Motorcycles, mopeds and scooters
HOW TO USE FUEL STICK – FUEL CONDITIONER?
- Fuel stick is put up in day / service FUEL tank when the fuel level in THE tank goes to minimum level mark
- Fuel stick falls into the tank & dissolves completely in the fuel. Then the tank is topped to its max. Level (note: in higher capacity tanks FS is poured in stages during fuel filling)
- The mixing ratio for fuel stick to fuel is;
- 1 liter of fuel stick in liquid form : 1000 liters of FO
- 25# cubes x 40 liters each of fuel stick in solid form : 1000 liters of diesel
- Once the usage of FS is continued, it can be filled in fuel filling pipe of tanker during regular top up of tank
HOW DOES FUEL STICK WORK? 1
- When added to fuel, fuel stick active cleaners start dissolving carbon and varnish (a form of impurity in fuel) settled in fuel tank, pipes and related components.
- They prevent further build up. Removal of impurities helps in eliminating toxic by‐products of combustion and increase fuel efficiency dramatically.
- With addition of fuel stick in liquid fuels, it starts oxygenation; providing balanced and adequete concentration of oxygen during combustion to form co2 and improves combustion.
- Sufficient oxygen avoids formation of harmful co reducing heat losses and improving calorific value
- Liquid fuels contain longer hydrocarbon chains
‘No product in the world can match, let alone surpass the properties & performance of ‘Fuel Stick’
HOW DOES FUEL STICK WORK? 2
- Fuel conditioner releases polymers and influences the molecular structure of fuel:
- It’s catalytic action optimizes length of hydrocarbon chain and burns all carbon atoms evenly. Improves cetane number for diesel and octane number for petrol.
- Sulfur content is reduced significantly resulting in reduction of sludge; providing cleaner chimneys
- Antioxidant ingredients; safely provide a natural lubricant for fuel: increasing burn rate, reducing fuel consumption and increasing heat output
- Improved burn increases; BTU output and reduces un burnt hydrocarbons & particulates in exhaust gases
